Boulder, CO – November 21, 2024 — SCJ Alliance is excited to welcome another new employee, Emily Royal, PE, LEED AP BD+C, as our new Senior Project Manager. Since 2021, SCJ’s Cable-Propelled Transit group has grown nearly three-fold from four to eleven employees.
Emily’s arrival reinforces SCJ’s leadership in the ski lift industry, particularly in control system design, an area with a shortage of specialists.
Notably, Emily and SCJ engineer Harlan Bryant are inspectors for ski resorts and tramways in Colorado. They conduct essential safety inspections and start-up tests for the State of Colorado, ensuring compliance with maintenance and safety standards.
Emily is a licensed professional engineer in multiple states, and has managed engineering quality control processes, standards development, and training for electrical engineering teams. She is set to complete her PhD in Electrical Engineering at the Colorado School of Mines by the end of this year.
