SCJ Alliance Expands Seattle Presence

SCJ’s success on major engineering and planning projects has required a move to a larger office

After three years of success on several, major Seattle-area efforts, SCJ’s Seattle office needed to move to a larger space. On Monday, March 2, our team spent their first day in their new digs.

“Our new office gives our team room for continued growth and creates valuable collaboration space,” shares Seattle Principal, Lisa Reid, PE, PMP. Lisa is joined in leadership by Linda Amato, AICP, and Corey Jurcak, PE.

Notable Seattle-area projects include the Delridge Way SW – RapidRide H Line in West Seattle, the Magnolia Bridge Planning Study, the Edmonds SR 99 Gateway/Revitalization Project, SR 520 Montlake to Washington Interchange and Bridge Replacement, and the Ballard Bridge Planning Study.

SCJ Seattle’s new location: the 1201 Third building, between Seneca Street and University Street, in Downtown Seattle

SCJ established our first Seattle office in 2017 to meet the growing need for engineering and planning services. The new location is in the 1201 Third building, between Seneca Street and University Street, in the heart of downtown Seattle. The office is on the 5th floor, Suite 550. “I’m especially excited about the bike storage at our new office,” shares Susann Babaei, PE, who enjoys biking to work. A view of Elliott Bay, a fitness center, and an outdoor plaza with restaurants and shops are other welcomed amenities.

We also have offices in Ballard, Gig Harbor, Lacey, Centralia, Wenatchee, and Spokane, Washington, as well as Boulder, Colorado. In addition to Seattle-area projects, our metro team works virtually across all offices and business groups to anticipate emerging needs, envision projects that enhance communities, and create designs that bring visions to life.
