A reconnaissance of several acres of existing timberland, being considered for mining, was performed by SCJ Alliance.

The site was very unique. It was a glacial terrace and had areas where a stream would be on the surface and then disappear. The stream infiltrated and traveled subsurface for several hundred feet.

During the reconnaissance, we found areas of potential wetlands and provided wetland delineations. This kept the project in compliance with the most recent (2015) update to the Ecology rating manual.
