SCJ is working with a team of consultants to prepare what will be Spokane’s first station-area plan. Centered along the new CityLine BRT route, this neighborhood plan will propose land use, housing, transportation, and design policy to optimize development opportunity along the transit corridor and to integrate it with the surrounding neighborhoods, warehousing landscape, and university district. This process relies on active and equity-driven community dialogue to ensure planning initiatives meet neighborhood expectations. It also includes an integrated planned action EIS and ordinance, streamlining investment and ensuring the community can adequately consider and vet the plan’s proposals.
