INVOLVEMENT

Prime Consultant

In Seattle’s Queen Anne neighborhood, an active family sought a functional and fun yard. SCJ Studio created a landscape fulfilling their desire for outdoor living spaces, including dining, lounging, and gathering around the fire. In addition, active play areas were designed, including a low-maintenance artificial turf trampoline pad and baseball and soccer practice space, a basketball hoop, and living turf front yard for rousing games of tag. Along with these functional elements, the landscape was enhanced with street trees, all new plantings, and a custom fence adding curb appeal and privacy to the home. At the front, a widened front walk and new stairs provide clear wayfinding to the door, welcoming visitors and deliveries alike to the correct entrance.
