After being appointed as the City’s contract planners, SCJ was further chosen to lead the development of the City’s PROS Plan. SCJ’s approach builds on existing planning efforts, including the City of Colville’s 2020 Comprehensive Plan Update, the 2016 Final Strategic Plan, the Final Bike and Pedestrian Trail Plan, and the 2019 Colville Mountain Plan. The PROS plan, scheduled for completion in the next month, incorporates a variety of implementable outdoor recreation opportunities, reflecting input from robust public engagement during various planning efforts. The plan establishes a foundational vision to enhance the Parks and Recreation Department and elevate the quality of life for Colville residents.
