INVOLVEMENT
2015-2018

The federal Endangered Species Act listing of the Mazama pocket gopher, and high ground water conditions, prompted the Port of Olympia to seek a public conversation for 550 acres in their New Market Industrial Campus and the Tumwater Town Center. SCJ Alliance was chosen to create a Real Estate Master Plan, rooted in regional economic data and rigorous environmental studies. Completed in 2018, the master planning effort was designed to respond to community and stakeholder interests and provide the Port direction and focus for infrastructure improvements for coming decades.
