The Butte-Silver Bow Parks Master Plan is currently underway, with public meetings and interviews ongoing and a comprehensive community survey soon to be released. This project will define planning and design criteria, update population and community needs, evaluate the existing facilities and trail systems to identify operations related needs and develop recommendations for operational improvements. The Parks Master Plan includes a high level of public outreach and collaboration with the municipal parks and recreation staff to establish long-range vision and community support. At the completion of the project, the team will develop a list of possible capital improvements, then prioritize them into a final 6- year Capital Improvement Program (CIP) and a long-term 20-year list of projects and investments.
