INVOLVEMENT

SCJ team members worked with the Telluride Mountain Village Owners Association to design and build a gondola system and ensure its effective operations and maintenance. The gondola links Telluride and Mountain Village and serves both as a lift for skiers and snowboarders during the winter and as public transportation for locals and visitors year-round.

The project team performed a review of the transportation system facilities, operations, and maintenance practice in consideration of the general standard of care for such systems. We provided field observations of O&M practices, interviewed staff, and analyzed operational and financial records. The final product was a report, recommendations, and presentations for the management board.
