Salish Middle School is a new $48 million, 109,000-square-foot school facility located on 18 acres in the rapidly growing Hawks Prairie area of Lacey. It has capacity for 750 students from grades 6 through 8.

SCJ’s landscape architecture group provided extensive site development design services as well as a sustainable landscape and irrigation system for the project.

Outdoor spaces included the design of the main entry plaza, student gathering areas, and hard court play spaces. Sports field design included a softball field, a running track, and a football/soccer field.
