The redevelopment of this 30+ acre site along the Columbia River includes trails, picnic areas, beach access points, and parking areas for passenger and tow vehicles. SCJ site designers developed the upland construction plans, specifications and cost estimates for the day use, shoreline trail, and boat launch areas off-island at Crescent Bar.

The facilities and amenities are amongst a blend of multi-purpose turf areas, riparian and upland restoration areas, providing not only a mix of park and wildland experiences, but also habitat benefits. Work continues on an additional 75-acre recreation facility as part of Phase 2. Improvements include additional day use areas, a 55-site RV campground and a boat launch with a large marina facility.

Crescent Bar Recreation is the largest recreation development project on the Mid-Columbia since the development of the Chelan PUD parks in Wenatchee. We are privileged to be assisting Grant PUD public involvement, permitting and design of this important recreation access point on the Columbia.
