Located in the City of Lake Forest Park, the new and improved Eagle Scout Park is now officially open to the public!

Originally a grassy area populated with defunct outdoor exercise equipment and aging birch trees, SCJ’s Seattle landscape architecture team, SCJ Studio, redesigned the space as a vibrant community gathering point with play structures, new planting, and seating.

In order to provide needed amenities, SCJ designed the space to not only be a pleasant area for relaxation – but also a fun new play space for neighborhood children and kids from the nearby elementary school and church.

At the park’s grand opening on Saturday, June 10, kids and parents from the surrounding neighborhood were already enjoying the new play equipment and benches, marking the beginning of a new life for Eagle Scout Park.
